Government by the people and for the people is no small feat. We have city, county, state, and federal government. They are separate entities but rely on each other to provide overlapping services within cities, counties, and states throughout America.
Add to these the courts and judicial system, who are charged with balancing the scales of justice for all. And there are boards, commissions and agencies that offer a variety of services. Some of these services are an employee’s credit union, emergency management and historical preservation.
We, the people, elect our government leaders; therefore we have a bond of responsibility between elected officials and the people.
