Do You Know of Any 2009 Commercial Developments in the Atlanta Renewal Community?  If So, They May Be Eligible for the Commercial Revitalization Deduction!

Do you know of any commercial or mixed-use developments that were placed in service this year?  If so, these projects may be eligible for the Renewal Community's Commercial Revitalization Deduction (CRD).  This Federal tax deduction allows developers or investors to either take HALF of their expenses building or substantially rehabilitating an eligible building off of their 2009 taxes (with the remaining balance depreciating on the building's normal schedule) OR pro-rate their expenses over a ten-year period.    If you know of someone who can benefit from this program, please have them contact Lisa L. Hawkins at 404-865-8465 or via e-mail at lhawkins@atlantaga.gov immediately, as time is running out!
