Dream Jamboree The Atlanta Dream Jamboree is a two-day exploration of educational and training opportunities available to high school students. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in the new millennium. It has served more than 100,000 students since it was established in 1982. Camp Best Friends Camp Best Friends is a program provided by the City of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. Camp Best Friends 2009, also known as CBF, is celebrating 28 years of providing exciting summer activities for the youth of Atlanta. Open registration for Camp Best Friends begins on March 2, 2009.
Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament The Atlanta Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Mayor. In 2003, the tournament celebrated seven years of commitment to the First Tee at John A. White Park children's golf camp and Camp Best Friends. Since its inception, the Mayor's cup has contributed more than $ 1.5 million to these two programs, who provide a safe haven for Atlanta's youth.
Tickets for Kids Tickets for Kids is a unified effort between Ticketmaster and the City of Atlanta to channel family entertainment tickets as rewards and incentives to deserving Atlanta youth who have proven their willingness to contribute to their community.
Through Tickets for Kids, we can make a difference! We can recognize, reward, and reinforce young people who regularly give back to their communities.
