Office of Administrative and Legislative Services
Function
- Oversees Payroll, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Customer Service, Department Training, Procurement, Open Records, and serves as Legislative liaison for the department.
- Provides quality services to all customers within the Finance Department and in the City who rely upon services produces by the unit.
- Provides support as necessary to the out-sourcing of contracts and service agreements with third party administrators to whom the City out-sources certain financial transaction processing functions.
- Responsible for advisingon consistency with City policy and ensures the provision of quality services to both internal and external customers.
- Responsible for high-level administrative managerial work in support of and at the discretion of the Chief Financial Officer on a wide range of municipal, administrative and legislative issues.
Organization
The Office of Legislative and Administrative Services includes two Administrative Assistant, Srs., an Administrative Analyst, Sr., a Research and Policy Analyst, and a Business Manger organized under a director who reports to the city's Chief Financial Officer.
