Debt Management

Function To provide centralized, professional management of all functions required to efficiently and effectively maximize the benefit derived by the City in all areas of debt management. Maintain the legislative integrity of the portfolio as well as exercise control for the management, analysis, structuring and sizing of the City's debt issues. Direct the City’s plan of financing to best address the funding needs and allocations for general fund, enterprise funds, and economic development objectives of the City. Utilize best practices to improve processes for implementing performance and productivity measurements, reduce cost of borrowing and maximize resources. Organization The Debt Management Team consists of a Debt Manager, two Debt Analyst Principals and a Financial Analyst that work with the Debt & Investment, Chief.
