Ms. Chandler brings over eighteen years of transactional and governance experience to the City of Atlanta. Serving as Assistant General Counsel, Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Mirant Corporation, she was responsible for the compliance and ethics programs and the internal decision making and governance process for this public global energy company. Prior to joining Mirant, she was a partner with Troutman Sanders LLP in the Corporate Section, and her practice included a broad range of corporate and contract matters, including project development and finance.
Ms. Chandler earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association and served on the Board of Governors of the State Bar. She participated on the Law School Alumni Council and the Capital Campaign Committee for the UGA School of Law and the Leadership Georgia class of 1998.
