Tree Information
If you have a question or concern about park trees or street trees, the Office of Parks can assist you. Please call our Customer Service Call Center using the "Contact Info" on this page. You should also call the Customer Service Call Center to report trees down in the street. If your question is about a privately-owned tree, please contact the Arborist Division in the Bureau of Buildings.

NEW OPERATING HOURS: The Centralized Reservations Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:15AM to 5:00PM. Contact the Reservationist at 404.817.6757 or parksreservationist@atlantaga.gov.
Effective September 28, 2009: The overall closure of city athletic fields has been lifted and the fields are now available for play. However, if you arrive at a particular field and find the condition of the field to be substandard, meaning rainy or wet conditions, standing water, bare spots, or any combination of these elements, we respectfully ask that you DO NOT use the field.
The following fields will remain temporarily closed until further notice: Coan Park and South Bend.
Updates from the Parks Department
Beginning September 1, 2009, there will be a required non-refundable $50 fee for all Large Gathering in a Park applications along with the $100 refundable sanitation bond. The $50 fee may be accepted in the form of a check, money order, or credit/debit card. The $100 sanitation bond will only be accepted in the form of a money order. No cash will be accepted.
The football/soccer field at Coan Park is temporarily unavailable for rental or play until July 2010.
Reservation Protocol for Recreation Centers

As of September 1, 2009, all reservations for open Recreation Centers must be made and paid for directly at the Recreation Center. Centralized Reservations will no longer accept reservations for open Recreation Centers.

As of September 1, 2009, all reservations for closed Recreation Centers must be made and paid for through Ms. Carol Daniel in the Office of Recreation. Ms. Daniel can be reached at 404-817-6766, 404-817-6869 or at cdaniel@atlantaga.gov.
