Directions to the Bureau of Planning

Atlanta City Hall is located downtown, adjacent to the State Capitol and the Fulton County Courthouse.

Arriving by MARTA:

City Hall is less than a 10 minute walk from either Georgia State Station (on the east line) or Garnett Station (on the south line).

Exit Georgia State Station to Piedmont Avenue and turn left toward the capitol.
Turn right on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, left on Washington Street, and right on Mitchell Street.  City Hall will be on your left.
After you pass through security, walk through the lobby to the City Hall Annex.  The Bureau of Planning is on the third floor, across the atrium from the elevators.

Exit Garnett Station to Broad Street (on the upper level).  Turn right on Trinity Avenue and walk 3 blocks.  City Hall will be on your left.
After you pass through security, you will find the Bureau of Planning on the third floor, across the atrium from the elevators.

Arriving by car:

Southbound on I-75/I-85
Take Exit 248A (M. L. King, Jr. Dr./State Capitol/Turner Field)
Keep left on the ramp and continue straight onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive (toward Turner Field)
Turn left at the third light onto Washington Street
Turn right at the second light onto Trinity Avenue
City Hall is on your right

Northbound on I-75/I-85
Take Exit 246 (Fulton St./Central Ave./Downtown)
Keep left and follow the ramp for Central Ave./Downtown/Ga. Dome
The ramp becomes Central Avenue
Turn right at the third light onto Trinity Avenue
City Hall is on your left

Westbound on I-20
Take Exit 58A (Capitol Ave./Downtown)
At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Capitol Avenue
Turn left at the first light onto Memorial Drive
Turn immediately right onto Trinity Avenue
Just after Washington Street, City Hall will be on your right

Eastbound on I-20
Take Exit 56B (Windsor St./Spring St./Turner Field)
At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Windsor Street
Windsor Street becomes Spring Street
Turn right at the second light onto Trinity Avenue
After five blocks, City Hall will be on your left

Enter City Hall at 55 Trinity Avenue.  After you pass through security, you will find the Bureau of Planning on the third floor, across the atrium from the elevators.
