The
Out of School Time Program for youth grades Kindergarten - 5th Grade (OST K - 5) provides a diverse curriculum of academic, cultural and arts programs and a wide variety of athletic activities that include soccer, tennis, basketball, cheerleading, track and field, swimming and softball. Our program is designed to keep kids active and healthy. Physical activity is needed to maintain good health in children as well as adults. We also recognize the need for youngsters to be able to socialize and positively interact in different situations. These are essential skills in youth development that we strive for. We invite you to visit one of the program sites listed below or if you would like additional information please call the location of your choice to learn more about OST K-5.

Fees:
Resident of Atlanta: $35.00 per week
Non-Resdent of Atlanta: 110.00 per week
You must present the following when registering your child:
- Picture ID (Drivers License or State of Georgia ID)
- Mortgage/Lease or Current Bill (Water, Gas, or Electric)
- Childs Birth Certificate (If youth is age 6 and under)
MUST HAVE ALL ITEMS FOR CHILD TO REGISTER. NO EXCEPTIONS.
(Phone Bills and Licenses are not acceptable items for resident verification.)

**In order to be eligible for a reduced fee, parents must first apply for CAPS (https://compass.ga.gov/selfservice/selfserviceController?id=0.9308474290201875&tab=773477/). While waiting on approval or denial you can provide the following documentation to provide proof of need for sliding scale fee. If denied for CAPS, parents must then bring a copy of denial letter or a print out of application (verification of applying) and comply with the documentation required for verification of income and residency outlined below.
The following items are REQUIRED to substantiate annual income:
-Three (3) pay stubs or stub receipts for the most recent four weeks of earnings (one month’s worth of income…30 days before/after forms are completed)
- Documentation from other DFCS staff such as the eligibility (Case Manager) for services through the state
-Letter/statement from employer reflecting one month’s worth of earnings (on letterhead)
If unemployed, proof of service for one or more of the following:
-Current Letter from Department of Labor stating they have not been working
-Current Unemployment benefits letter (reflecting one month’s worth of earnings)
-Current Letter showing Cash Assistance (TANF)
-Current Letter showing Medicaid is in effect
-Current Letter showing Food Stamps are in effect
-Current Award letter showing they receive(d) Section 8 certificate and Child Support letter.
