Just dance! Jazz in the Atrium returns to Hartsfield-Jackson

ATLANTA – Get ready, Atlanta! The 11th annual Jazz in the Atrium music series returns to the domestic terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport tonight.

The two-week program features performances by renowned, mostly local artists from 5 to 7 p.m. each weeknight except for Memorial Day through June 1.

“The jazz series offers music lovers of all ages an opportunity to relax and enjoy great performances before boarding their flights,” said Katherine Dirga, Airport Art Program manager. “Jazz in the Atrium has become a popular tradition for many travelers and employees.”

Jazz in the Atrium is presented in conjunction with the 35th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival, which is organized by the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Hartsfield-Jackson’s music series provides a sampling of the sounds that music lovers will experience at venues throughout the city during the festival.
