Mayor Shirley Franklin and City Officials Celebrate the Completion of the Hemphill Discharge Piping Project

Mayor Shirley Franklin, Atlanta City Councilmembers and Jack Ravan, Commissioner, Department of Watershed Management

What:

The City of Atlanta, Department of Watershed Management, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the completion of construction on the Hemphill Discharge Piping Project. The Hemphill Discharge Piping Project is part of the City’s water main replacement program, replacing critical and aging water mains connected to the Hemphill Pump Station. Also included is the installation of a new 7,000-cubic foot surge control system at the Hemphill Water Treatment Plant
