The City of Atlanta Hosts the 28th Annual Children’s Holiday Festival


WHO:

The City of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (S.C.LC.) Women and over 3,000 Metro Atlanta children, including Hurricane Katrina evacuees  

 

WHAT:

The City of Atlanta has partnered with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (S.C.LC.) Women to host the 28th Annual Children’s Holiday Festival.  This event exemplifies the true meaning of this holiday season for children who might not otherwise have a positive holiday experience. This annual celebration brings together disadvantaged Metro Atlanta children, ages 4-12, for a day of FREE interactive games, toys, special gifts, face painting, live entertainment, train rides, refreshments and a special visit from Santa Claus.
