Downtown Connector Resurfacing Information Briefing
Major Lane Closures Start March 28

Georgia DOT is hosting an information briefing about the Downtown Connector resurfacing project for media, City of Atlanta officials and emergency responders. Georgia DOT and E.R. Snell representatives will be on hand to discuss the project scope and work schedule.

The Downtown Connector resurfacing project extends 4.79 miles between University Avenue and 10th Street in the northbound and southbound lanes.

 

Major lane closures are scheduled to begin March 28 and continue on weekends until the work is completed by the end of November. Lane closures will mostly be contained to weekends, starting Friday 9 p.m. through Monday 5 a.m.  Any weeknight closures will be limited to shoulder or single lane. Closures will be updated weekly and are subject to change due to weather or to coordinate with the 14th Street Reconstruction Project.

 

Following is the first weekend’s lane closures scheduled for March 28-31.
