Mayor Shirley Franklin Announces the Fort McPherson Planning Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA)

WHAT:	The Fort McPherson Planning Local Redevelopment Authority (McPherson Planning LRA) will assume responsibility and authority for planning the reuse of Ft. McPherson. The authority will serve as the sole point of contact regarding the reuse of Fort McPherson with the Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment and the Department of the Army.   The McPherson Planning LRA recognizes and reflects the interests of all key public and private stakeholders, including, but not limited to the City of Atlanta, the City of East Point, Fulton County, and other South Atlanta regional affected jurisdictions
