The Following Garbage Collection Schedule applies to the week of Jan 2-6, 2006
Monday - No collections
Tuesday - Monday's collection
Wednesday - Tuesday's collection
Thursday - Wednesday collection
Friday - Thursday's collection
On January 7, 2006, The City of Atlanta and Keep Atlanta Beautiful are partnering with Earth's 911, the National Christmas Tree Association and Home Depot for Christmas tree recycling.
Christmas trees may taken to the following Home Depots
Ponce De Leon (across from City Hall East)
Sydney Marcus (near Piedmont Road)
Christmas trees will also be picked up on the scheduled yard trimming collection weeks.
If your household garbage is collected on Monday or Tuesday, your yard trimmings will be collected during the 1st and 3rd week of the month; if it is collected on Wednesday or Thursday, your yard trimmings will be collected during the 2nd and 4th week of the month.
