Reason: Main Break
Comments: The main break at Fairburn Road between Heritage Valley Road and Mays Crossing in Southwest Atlanta has resulted in a low-pressure situation in the area. Low pressure has already caused the issuance of a boil-water advisory for the area. That advisory will have to be extended, and the area affected will be enlarged if pressure drops further. The Department of Watershed Management is urging residents of southwest Atlanta, Fairburn and Union City to conserve water to reduce pressure on existing supplies. Until further notice, please refrain from watering lawns, washing cars and using water wastefully.
