Peachtree Corridor Sewer Project:

24/7 Construction & 2 Lanes Closed

on Peachtree Road for ONE WEEK

AFFECTED AREAS:

-  2 Lanes Closed on Peachtree Road between Highland Drive and Georgia 400

-  Temporary lane closures as needed on Peachtree near Maple Drive

 

REASON:

Sewer Main Replacement and Rehabilitation

 

COMMENTS:

The Department of Watershed Management is replacing the sewer main.  Construction will continue 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.  The 2 outermost lanes of Peachtree Road will be closed for the duration of construction.  Motorists are directed to use  both the inner lane and the turning lane for southbound traffic.

 

Motorists are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.
