Education Nation Atlanta launches at 9:15 a.m (ET) on Friday, May 4. Mayor Reed, Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Erroll B. Davis Jr. and George State School Superintendent John Barge will join Atlanta-area students and the NBC News and 11Alive teams at the official Opening Ceremony at Georgia Aquarium. 11Alive anchors Ted Hall and Karyn Greer will lead the event, portions of which will be covered by 11Alive.
