EVENT DESCRIPTION: Creative Placemaking Communities, in partnership with South Arts, Spelman Glee Club and the Cabbagetown Neighborhood Association, will be hosting a special choral activation in Krog Street Tunnel, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at appx. 2:30 pm. The Spelman Glee Club will be performing a selection of repertoire in advance of their upcoming Spring tour. The performance is part of the larger conference for creative placemaking that will be hosted at the Woodruff Art Center. The performance is intended for the conference attendees and the surrounding neighborhoods to highlight unique performance in a community that has embraced and protected artistic freedom.
