EVENT DESCRIPTION: On Sunday September 15, 2024 ATL DOT is activating 3.4 miles of the West End for Atlanta Streets Alive, connecting Ralph David Abernathy/Georgia Ave from Gordon White Park to Grant Park through the West End. From 1:00pm - 5:00pm, the street will be closed to cars and open for people to walk, roll, bike and play!
Atlanta Streets Alive (ASA) opens streets temporarily for constituents to bike, walk, skate, dance and play. It is FREE to the public; the event turns the street into park space that connects our city. This event is an initiative of The City of Atlanta Department of Transportation.
