EVENT DESCRIPTION: Kickstart the Summit on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2p for our inaugural 5K race in support of the Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation (WiMEF). Racers will run or walk through midtown Atlanta, GA to support and raise funds for on going programs and new initiatives by the WiMEF to assist women in the manufacturing industry gain skills and industry knowledge, helping them become leaders within their companies and communities.
The WiMEF is a 501C3 non profit organization providing affordable educational and leadership programs to women working in manufacturing. To date over 23,000 women have benefited from the WiMEF programs.
EVENT ROUTE: 5K will begin at 300 Marietta Street and travel to Tech Pkwy, Northside Drive, Ivan Allen and will finish at 300 Marietta Street.
