Office of the Mayor

Elected in November 2021, Mayor Andre Dickens serves as the Executive Officer of the City of Atlanta. 

As chief administrator and official representative, Mayor Dickens is responsible for the general management of the City and for seeing that all laws and ordinances are enforced. Administrative duties include appointments, with City Council approval, of department heads and persons serving on advisory boards. The Mayor is also responsible for advising the City Council of the City's financial condition and presents an annual budget for approval.
