The Center is a $100M project culminating in eight years of planning, fundraising, and subsequent building construction that began in 2013. The breathtaking 42,000 square-foot facility houses three exhibitions: “Rolls Down Like Water: The American Civil Rights Movement,” “Spark of Conviction: The Global Human Rights Movement,” and “Voice to the Voiceless: The Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection.” The Center features a continuously rotating exhibition from the Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection, which includes many of Dr. King’s personal documents and items.
