Statement on Passing of Bernie Marcus
ATLANTA—Mayor Andre Dickens issued the following statement.
“My thoughts are with the family and friends of Bernie Marcus. Aside from being a part of a global business that revolutionized the way we build and take care of our homes, Bernie played a pivotal role in bringing the Georgia Aquarium to life and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. May his career inspire future generations to never give up when times are tough.”
