Mayor Kasim Reed Supports Wells Fargo in Homeownership Event in Atlanta

 WHAT:

Mayor Kasim Reed will participate in an advance VIP tour of the Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT event at the Georgia World Congress Center.

NeighborhoodLIFT is an $8 million initiative by Wells Fargo to encourage homeownership in the City of Atlanta. As part of the Wells Fargo initiative, $6.4 million will be provided in down payment assistance to those who qualify, including $2.4 million for houses needing renovation. Qualifying homebuyers can receive up to $15,000 in assistance. There also will be bus tours of 100 homes from noon to 5 PM. both days.

The NeighborhoodLIFT event is free (including parking) and will take place at the GWCC from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11.
