DCP is committed to preserving the unique ecological character and tree canopy that makes Atlanta unique. This can be done through regulation, funding, and replanting efforts. We envision this page to grow as we continue to develop our resources and programming around tree preservation and plantings. In the meantime, you can view data below on the Tree Trust Fund, data related to tree removals and replacements in the city on private property, and canopy trends over time. NOTE: This data does not include public property, which is tracked by the Department of Parks and Recreation.
