Facilities Management (FM) is charged with providing safe, secure, clean and well-maintained sustainable facilities. The division has direct responsibility for maintaining, repairing, securing, cleaning and providing services for the following facilities: City Hall, Municipal Court, Berdine, Dunbar, and Georgia Hill Neighborhood Centers, Public Safety Headquarters, Public Safety Annex, 911 Center and the Atlanta Workforce Development Authority (AWDA). FM also provides maintenance and repair support for 34 Atlanta Fire Stations, 8 Police Precincts and the Atlanta Detention Center. The division manages a total of 51 facilities.

Services
Facilities Management provides the following services: building repair and maintenance, security, safety and emergency response, event facility rental, conference room and filming production support, city-wide telephone operator services, parking management, mail room services, cafeteria and newsstand management, custodial/janitorial services and technical services such as asset inventory control, disposition of surplus property, facility assessments, ergonomic assessments, project management, space planning/utilization services and furniture changes and moves.
Our tradesmen and custodial staff perform the following services: electrical and mechanical repairs, painting, plumbing, elevator and fire protection maintenance, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and major critical equipment distribution systems, generator services, maintenance of parking lots and grounds, custodial services, contractor management, recycling, roofing, pest control, and surplus inventory management.
