Tackle Football Ages 5 to 12

The City of Atlanta’s Football Program is designed for youth ages 5 -12. Through this program the fundamentals of football, value of team sports, and development of healthy habits are cultivated. We also educate our young athletes about accountability, discipline, and hard work which will help them achieve long term success. We invite you to visit your neighborhood recreation center to discover more.

Registration

Official Conditioning Begins: July 8, 2024

Season Start Date: September 7, 2024

Registration Fees:

City of Atlanta Residents | $75.00 per person

Non-Residents | $150.00 per person

Note: Registration includes helmet, shoulder pads, and game uniform rental. Parents are responsible for practice attire (jersey, pants with pads, mouth guard, and cleats). Players original birth certificate, state issued ID, or current passport is required for participation.

Volunteer Football Coaches needed

The City of Atlanta relies heavily on volunteer coaches to coach our kids and are always seeking dedicated volunteer football coaches. Football experience is encouraged but not required. All volunteer coaches must be able to pass a criminal background check and attain a coaching certification through The National Alliance for Youth Sports (www.NAYS.org).
