Commercial Loading and Unloading

Per the Atlanta Municipal Code, Commercial Loading and Unloading permits may be obtained for commercial vehicles.The Office of Transportation issues commercial loading and unloading permits to commercial vehicles. This gives permitted vehicles the opportunity to park in truck loading zones and at metered parking spaces without charge. The commercial loading and unloading permit is valid for 12 months.

To obtain a commercial loading and unloading permit, applicants must submit the following information:

• Permit Application
• Copy of Current Driver's Licence for the driver of the permitted vehicle
• Copy of Current Vehicle Registration
• Signed Commercial Permit Parking Guidelines

Permit Fees

• Commercial Loading and Unloading permit fee is $300 per year per vehicle.
