Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Names Amol Naik as Chief Resilience Officer
Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has announced that Amol Naik has been named Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Atlanta. In this role, he will be responsible for ensuring progress towards the Administration’s established goals of becoming more resilient to the physical, social and economic challenges we face as a city.

Atlanta to Potentially Host World Cup Semifinal in 2026
Earlier today, the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced that the 2026 World Cup will be played in North America, with games in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The successful North American bid to host the event recommended Atlanta as a potential site for a semifinal match as well as the international broadcast center.
