For decades, the Mayor's Office of Constituent Services has played a pivotal role in building strong connections between the Office of the Mayor and the residents of the City of Atlanta. Daily we engage with constituents at City Hall, partnering and supporting city events, and ensuring our outreach aligns with the initiatives that add to value of our rich community.  The Mayor's Volunteer Program (MVP) is a new initiative from the Office of

Constituent Services, curated to support the demanding needs of multiple annual events, and our community engagement activities. With the continued success and growth of the office, there is always a need for support from employees of the city and partners within the community. In creating this program, we are providing opportunities for individuals throughout the city to support the efforts of Mayor Andre Dickens. This program is intended to reinforce existing volunteer activities and is aimed at encouraging volunteerism in a manner designed to achieve the most meaningful results. Our objective is to maximize the positive impact of our efforts and maintain a level of focus on the priority areas that relate to the four pillars of Mayor Dickens' goals:

  • One Safe City
  • City of Opportunity for All
  • A City Built for the Future
  • Effective & Ethical Government

Please see a running list of the programs we host and volunteer at:

  • Mayoral Special Events
  • Older Americans/Senior Month
  • Back to School Events
  • Senior Ball Annual Event
  • Thanksgiving Giveaway
  • Christmas Events/Projects
  • Other Constituent Services collaborative opportunities
