"I had the opportunity to work with the AIM Web development team, which exposed me to HTML and CSS. Prior to the program, I had no experience in Web development, and I’m thankful for each team member for dedicating their time to guide me throughout the program. Overall, it was a great learning experience in terms of technical and soft skills, and I truly appreciate everyone that helped me on this journey."

"I had the opportunity to work with the AIM Web development team in which I coded the “What the Interns are Saying” section of this site with HTML. I've had previous experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, but the guidance and leadership I've received from the Department of Atlanta Information Management (AIM) feels award-winning. This internship has contributed significantly to my personal growth tremendously. My team has helped me in more ways than they may know, and I feel as though this internship has strengthened my skills for what's to come in my career."

"Here at the City of Atlanta, I had the opportunity to work with the deputy chief information officer (DCIO), budget analyzer, and training manager. They were beyond beneficial in helping me achieve my goals for this internship. I learned many new technical skills as well as made improvements in my soft skills. I'm grateful they took the time out of their busy schedules to help all of us interns transition from a school environment to a working environment."

"I had the opportunity to complete an internship with the City of Atlanta by working closely with the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO). I worked alongside Ms. Kimberlyn, Ms. Errin, Ms. Martisse, and Ms. Shauntria, who all played a huge role in making this internship full of experience and skill learning. I didn’t have previous experience working with PowerBi, but the internship prompted me to learn this new skill and use it to build a budget dashboard for the DCIO. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I truly appreciate the opportunity."

"During my internship for the City of Atlanta. This internship polished my PowerBI and auditing skills while strengthening my leadership and communication skills. Ms. Nelson took the time to create leadership sessions for us, which was one of my favorite things about this internship. Ms. Baugh also took the time to meet with us to touch base on the projects and ask how we were doing. Mr. Cole took the time to provide his insights on project management, which correlates to what I strive to do in my career. I would like to formally thank everyone on the City of Atlanta AIM team for welcoming me and giving me the opportunity to work alongside them."

"Interning with AIM was nothing short of fantastic. I’ve had the opportunity to perform analyses on mobile operating systems and security updates, research potential security applications, and expand my knowledge on mobile device management platforms. This internship has contributed significantly to my personal growth. I've learned how to pivot and deal with unexpected circumstances. One of the most substantial parts of interning with AIM was having the opportunity to speak with various business leaders and receive great insight into their career paths and helpful advice. Although all good things come to an end, I look forward to collaborating with AIM in some capacity in the near future."
