Mayor Kasim Reed and the Atlanta Board of Ethics today launched the City of Atlanta’s Integrity at Work campaign at City Hall in front of hundreds of city employees. The new initiative focuses on educating employees, elected officials, board members, NPU officers, contractors, and vendors on the core values of an ethical culture in city government while continuing to ensure officials and employees comply with the Ethics Code.

Mayor Kasim Reed and Invest Atlanta, the City of Atlanta’s economic development agency, announced today the launch of a new program called Start Up Atlanta to help the local startup community engage, interact and create new businesses and jobs. Start Up Atlanta is one of Invest Atlanta’s initiatives to make the city nationally and internationally recognized for entrepreneurship.

The Department of Public Works is pleased to announce that the Fairburn Road Bridge over the CSX Railroad will be reopened to all traffic beginning today. The bridge was closed in January 2012 and has been replaced by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The bridge opening comes five months ahead of the projected year-end completion date.
