Today, the City of Atlanta, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Planning and Community Development hosted the Atlanta Housing Refinancing Roundtable at City Hall. On Thursday, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) delivered a key infrastructure improvement to the City of Atlanta – opening the new Mitchell Street Bridge connecting the Castleberry Hill community, the Georgia Dome, World Congress Center and federal office buildings complex downtown. According to GDOT, the project was delivered on time and on budget.

power2give.org is an online platform that uses crowd-sourced funding to match donors with arts organizations and projects. Arts organizations vetted through the Office of Cultural Affairs’ Contracts for Arts Services program are granted access to the power2give website so they may post arts-related projects in need of funding. The public is encouraged to visit the site and support those projects through donations via the online payment tool.

The new initiative focuses on educating employees, elected officials, board members, NPU officers, contractors, and vendors on the core values of an ethical culture in city government while continuing to ensure officials and employees comply with the Ethics Code.
